This 2 day course is for those individuals who wish to become a paediatric first-aider in the workplace with a responsibility for the welfare of infants and children. The course has been designed to ensure that participants gain the essential underpinning theory and knowledge coupled with opportunity to complete the practical elements of first aid situations that could occur within a childcare setting.

This half day course is for learners to attain the knowledge and practical competences required to deal with a casualty who is unresponsive. Learners will be taught to assess an emergency situation safely and provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty including how to perform CPR on an adult and the use of an AED. (Automated External Defibrillator)

The Highfield Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Catering has been developed and is awarded by Highfield Qualifications and sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
